SSI PHOTO & VIDEO SPECIALITY COURSE

The goals of the SSI Photo & Video Specialty Course training are:

• Understand and apply basic principles of the art and science of photography including exposure, focus, strobe photography, available light photography, camera-handling techniques and composition
• Select, prepare, care for and maintain underwater photographic equipment
• Take underwater photographs that are properly composed, focused and exposed

Photo & Video Specialty Course Duration

• Independent study and completion of knowledge reviews
• confined and open water dives

Photo & Video Specialty Course pre-requisites

• You must be certified as an SSI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation or be a snorkeler
• Be 10 years of age or older
• Complete the SSI eLearning and paperwork for the course
