John : John Murphy I went last week for a PADI reactivate refresher course. Communications were really great, as I had a lot of questions! The pool session felt really safe, with a very knowledgeable and friendly instructor. The loan equipment was of good quality, not the shabby leftovers I have used at some dive centres. Thanks all!

Dave: Dave Picton First went to Below the Surface in September 2016 as my son and I wanted to learn to Scuba Dive ahead of a trip to the Red Sea. From the moment we entered the shop in Hebden Bridge, Bill, Sally and the team have been fantastic. From the nervous first steps on the try dive, to completing our open water, everything has been done to the highest of standards. Can’t thank them enough for our scuba diving adventures.

Gem Gem Gem Gems Absolutely amazing dive school with such patient and supportive instructors took years to build up to doing my first try dive due to previous bad experience, completed that and after some confidence building they help me to achieve my Scuba diver facing my fear with 2 open water dives, it’s been such an achievement I so look forward to diving with below the surface on a Friday night and look forward to progressing to my open water next year The shop also stocks all I need for diving bought a mask and snorkel and rash vest and when the times right I know it will be the place I will buy any dive kit I require. My niece and nephew also love diving with them and ask every week we can take them next, my niece says she is saving up to do a course with them. Can’t recommend Below the dive school and shop enough definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nic Nicola Ward Fantastic dive school, very friendly and you’re made to feel very welcome. I did my Rescue Course with them last year, which was great fun with excellent training and instruction. After this I chose to go on and do my Dive Master with them, which has been great so far and I feel like I have learned so much. Pool sessions on a Friday are a great opportunity to practice your skills too!
