This course can be done as a Pro course or as someone who just wants more confidence in diving with friends and leading your group. Begin your diving career working as a Professional Dive Guide or continue the qualifications for Divemaster. Terminology To simplify terminology, the term “Dive Guide” refers to both Professional Dive Guides and Recreational Dive Guides (Dive Guides who do not work professionally with an SSI Dive Centre). The term “dive centre” refers to any active status SSI Dive Centre, Dive Resort, Dive Boat or Dive School.
