I went last week for a PADI reactivate refresher course. Communications were really great, as I had a lot of questions! The pool session felt really safe, with a very knowledgeable and friendly instructor. The loan equipment was of good quality, not the shabby leftovers I have used at some dive centres. Thanks all!

Absolutely amazing group of people, really friendly and welcoming. Did my first try scuba yesterday and really looking forward to do more dives with them. Sal is really patient instructor. Would highly recommend.

First went to Below the Surface in September 2016 as my son and I wanted to learn to Scuba Dive ahead of a trip to the Red Sea. From the moment we entered the shop in Hebden Bridge, Bill, Sally and the team have been fantastic. From the nervous first steps on the try dive, to completing our open water, everything has been done to the highest of standards. Can’t thank them enough for our scuba diving adventures.
